Hindustan Unilever L Q4 net profit down 5.72% at Rs 2406.00 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 2,406.00 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 2552.00 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 5.72 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose by 0.38 per cent at Rs 14,693.00 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 14,638.00 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 0.00 per cent to Rs 11,422.00 crore from Rs 11,422.00 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 37.50 per cent at Rs 220.00 crore versus (Mar'23 Rs 160.00 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 1.04 per cent to Rs 3,435.00 crore as against Rs 3,471.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 1.39 per cent in March quarter.
Interest grew by 325.00 per cent y-o-y to Rs 102.00 crore, while Taxation decreased by 3.67 per cent at Rs 841.00 crore (Mar'23 Rs 873.00 crore).
